Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes, you may schedule a free consultation online to meet with a therapist and talk about your goals. You may schedule a consultation online or email info@navisdc.com with any questions. There is no need to complete forms or provide payment for the initial consultation. 

Do you see clients virtually or in-person?

Navis Counseling sees clients virtually using a compliant video service.  In-person services may be available depending on which therapist you are scheduling with. 

How does scheduling work?

Sessions are scheduled directly with your therapist. Most clients meet weekly, and sessions are scheduled for 53 minutes.

How long will I be in therapy?

Clients typically work with therapists for six to nine months. Together, therapists and clients determine when a client’s goals are met and end their therapeutic relationship. 

What are the fees and do you take insurance?

Cost per-session is $150 dollars. Navis Counseling accepts CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield insurance. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. Clients are responsible for additional fees such as deductibles, co-payments, and costs for uncovered services. Learn more about our fees and how to determine your costs here.  

How do you take payment?

Payment for services, fees, and/or deductibles are taken in the patient portal via credit card.

What is your cancelation policy?

If you cancel your scheduled therapy appointment on the same day, you will be charged a $40 fee to your card on file.
